The aim of this paper is to analyze the G20 and Women20’ progress in promoting gender equality, especially regarding the economic gender gap between men and women in their respective agendas and in their policy recommendations, by analyzing the G20’ Leaders Declarations and W20 Communiques, from 2015 until 2019. We’ve mobilized a qualitative methodology with primary and secondary sources and documentary analysis. The G20 is considered an informal cooperation forum and the W20 is one of its engagement groups. The W20 and G20 incorporate gender issues in their agendas, recommendations and declarations.
