Abstract

The article deals with the debates about the constitutional status of the Catholic Church and the other religious organisations in Argentina. Taking Constitutional Law and International Law as a starting point, it analyses the political ideas and political projects which underlie the different positions. The article adopts a historical perspective and considers the features of the current discussion on the subject.
