Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the collective organization of multinational corporations in Argentina during the administration of Nestor Kirchner (2003-2007) and the two mandates of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner (2007-2011, 2011-2015). Based on in-depth interviews, press information and data provided by the organizations themselves, we describe, in the first section, the main characteristics of the business associations that represent the interests of the multinational corporations in Argentina. In the second part, we analyze the movements that foreign corporations made between the different business associations during the period 2003-2015. To this end, we compare the number of members that each of these associations presented in 2003 with the number exhibited in 2015, in order to establish a pattern in the movements of multinational corporations within the universe of national business organizations.
