Abstract

This paper intends to interpret the evolution of the relationship between kirchnerist activism and the peronist identity from 2003 to the present, postulating the following periodization: a) a first moment of de-peronization (desperonización) in the kirchnerist vocabulary, especially bewteen 2004 and 2005, under the shape of a party de-alienation (despejotización); b) a second moment of brief, that somehow failed, re-encounter with the Peronist Party (repejotización), with its formal reorganization and Kirchner conducting it, among other elements; and c) a third moment of re-peronization when we witness a new mutation of the “privileged” groups within the government-supporting ensemble —with the rise of La Cámpora and the proliferation, especially since 2010, of many heterogeneous organizations, mostly juvenile, but not organized under an organic political party front— and a return of peronist iconography and peronist traditional symbols, but this time reappropriated by activism that did not belonged to the Peronist Party.
