Abstract

Belgrano is a neighborhood of contrasts and changing appearances whose singularity showed a rich and diverse social and economical conformation that is useful to analyze women inclusion politics during peronism. The political participation of peronist women in Belgrano was promoted by the presence of the communist women of the Unión de Mujeres de la Argentina (UMA) whose comparison allows to observe the counterpoint of the political strategies implemented by the peronism between 1945 and 1955.
