Con sumo agrado se comunica a los lectores que en 2007 el Directorio del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) resolvió incorporar nuestra Revista SAAP al Núcleo Básico de Publicaciones Periódicas Científicas y Tecnológicas Argentinas (Resolución 1071/2007). Considero que ello constituye un hecho importante no solamente para la SAAP como institución, sino para el reconocimiento científico y social de la disciplina de la ciencia política en nuestro país. Conformar medios de difusión científicos cada vez más rigurosos, en sus formas y en sus contenidos —en este caso validados por su organismo competente, el Centro Argentino de Información Científica y Tecnológica (CAICYT), dependiente del CONICET— es fundamental para consolidar nuestra disciplina y sus áreas conexas.
