Abstract

The article aims to explore in an schematic way the explaining factors of indianist mobilization’s success in Bolivia, and the reasons why Evo Morales’ MAS finally became hegemonic within indianism, instead of the Felipe Quispe’s Movimiento Indígena Pachakuti. Moreover, it seeks to give an interpretative explanation, emphasizing usually disregarded discursive aspects that could help the available explanations of this matter.
