The article is an attempt to undertake, from a communicative point of view, some events of the De la Rúa’s administration. It tries to identify the official communicative norms in a crisis period, to allow us to reconstruct the sequence of events. This reconstruction works like a guide of basic principles that the crisis communication have to recognize, like abilities required. In addition of the pretension to attain a systematization that contains some basic communicational components, typical of these critical phase, the article does not give up previously the conceptual discussion about what crisis is, and neither about important attributes to consider from the political management.
